Hello everyone! I haven’t had much time to dedicate to blogging lately, but I wanted to write up a quick post about Redemption Notting Hill and why you need to dine there!
The personal aim for March is to cut sugar from my diet. Add to this the fact that I can’t eat gluten, and I’m not a fan of heavy carbs, trying to find somewhere to eat out can be a little tricky!
Yesterday TBND and I decided we’d grab a bite to eat after work, but when it came to picking somewhere to eat, we were a little lost on where to go. After a quick Google search, I came across Redemption in Notting Hill. The restaurant is vegan, sugar free, and wheat free with an alcohol free bar. No sinning in this establishment!
We arrived at the restaurant, sat down and looked over the menu. We chose a starter platter of kale crisps (delicious!), olives and activated almonds (also delicious!). For mains we settled on the Beetroot Linguine with Kale and Almond Pesto made up of raw beetroot linguine, tossed in an antioxidant rich pesto topped with brazil nut ‘parmesan’, wild rocket and lemon flaxseed oil and the Maki Rolls Platter consisting of maki rolls filled with red and black quinoa, avocado, enoki mushroom, sesame seeds and micro amaranth shoots.
The food really was amazing and very satisfying. Had we even wanted dessert, we were really to full to eat any, but I look forward to my return where I will save some space for the raw dark chocolate cheesecake!
It really can be tricky dining out when you’re trying to be healthy, but now Redemption have your dietary requirements covered! Go visit, and let me know what you think!
