Sunday, for me, often involves eating a burger. There was one place in particular I’d been itching to visit, but for some reason or another hadn’t made it there yet.
So on a cold and dreary London Sunday, I met my friend Cath at Brixton Village to finally taste test an Honest Burgers burger.
The great thing about Honest Burgers is the gluten free bun, for the GF kids amongst us. The fries are also GF, because believe me there are plenty of restaurants that don’t offer this!
We scanned the menu and placed our order. We both went for the ‘Honest’, a beef burger topped with red onion relish, smoked bacon, mature cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce. All burgers come with a side of their rosemary salted chips.
Our food arrived quickly and we dived in. The burger was utterly awesome.
I was super satisfied with my burger, as you may be able to tell in the above photo!!
Honest Burgers is definitely on my list of burger joints to return to, and if you haven’t been, do yourself a favour, find the location nearest to you and get there pronto!
