Detour | Berlin Bound

I’m sitting at Gatwick Airport, waiting for my departure gate number to be announced and then I’m on my way to Berlin for two nights.

I’ve only panicked that I’ve lost my passport once so far, and my current dilemma is whether the soya milk in my Pret latte will come back to bite me in the arse (soya and I, we don’t get along too well!/WHY don’t they offer almond milk too?!) and whether I should try on the little playsuit I just spied in Zara, because it’s £3 cheaper than buying it on the high street. £3. I could buy an almond milk latte with that!

I’m heading to Berlin on my own for two nights and despite travelling solo all over the world over the years, it’s been awhile since I’ve done so, and it does feel a little strange!

Having done ZERO research on trip, which is not my usual organised style, I’m not actually sure what I’m going to do when I get there!  Thankfully I have two guides to read on the flight over.  All I know is that there are great walking tours, amazing street art and a heck of a lot of important historical sites.

So wish me luck, let’s hope I can figure my way out from the airport to my accommodation on the local trains!

Anything you recommend I do or see?! – I’ve got precisely 8 minutes to try and buy that Zara outfit, gotta dash, see ya!
